Missing sideboard cards? The full 15-card sideboard runs about $209.
Buy sideboard on ManapoolPrismatic Ending is excellent removal for their cheap permanents like Guide of Souls, Ajani, Nacatl Pariah, and Static Prison, exiling anything at or below the number of colors we spend. We keep Swords to Plowshares and Wasteland in to answer their threats and punish their own Wasteland plan, though be mindful that Swords gives their creature's controller life, which can turn on Ocelot Pride's end-step trigger. The slower, clunkier cards come out since this is a grindy board-based matchup where efficient removal matters more.
Consign to Memory counters colorless spells like Mishra's Bauble and triggered abilities like Orcish Bowmasters' enter-and-draw trigger or Bilbo's attack trigger, giving us cheap interaction against their value engine. It can't touch their blue or black spells or Kaito's loyalty abilities, which are activated abilities. Collector Ouphe shuts off Mishra's Bauble and any other activated artifact abilities they bring in, but it also stops our own Mox Diamond from tapping for mana, so deploy it with that in mind. We trim the clunkier top-end and situational tricks since this matchup is about resolving Dark Depths/Thespian's Stage through their Force of Will and Daze. Wasteland stays crucial to pressure their nonbasic mana like Underground Sea and their fetchlands, and Crop Rotation helps us rebuild lands after their Wasteland hits.
Gaddock Teeg is strong against Sultai Aluren, locking out Aluren (mana value 4) and Omniscience (mana value 10), the noncreature cards their combo plans lean on, along with any noncreature X-cost spells they might bring in. Show and Tell and Stock Up are both mana value 3 with no X, so Teeg does not stop them. Teeg also blocks ground creatures while we assemble Dark Depths, though it shuts off our own Green Sun's Zenith while it's in play. We make a light swap. Their maindeck Veil of Summer only gives hexproof from blue and from black, so it does not stop our white Swords to Plowshares, and it mainly keeps their spells from being countered. Our existing removal stays reliable, so we avoid overcommitting narrow sideboard pieces; Swords to Plowshares remains our primary tool against Atraxa, Grand Unifier and Acererak the Archlich.
