Ocelot Pride Midrange goes wide fast with Ocelot Pride tokens, Ajani, Nacatl Pariah Cat Warrior tokens, and Voice of Victory Warrior tokens, so Wrath of the Skies as a sweeper that destroys all artifacts, creatures, and enchantments at or below the energy paid is excellent at resetting their board. Erode is clean removal for Ocelot Pride, Guide of Souls, or Ajani, Nacatl Pariah, even letting them fetch a basic since denying mana isn't the goal here. Thoughtseize comes out because this matchup is a board-based race rather than a hand-disruption fight, and they rebuild through discard easily with cheap recurring threats; Flickerwisp is trimmed since blinking their permanents is a low-impact play against cheap threats, and flickering Ajani, Nacatl Pariah just hands them another Cat Warrior token when it re-enters.

Dimir Tempo leans on Nethergoyf (graveyard-based power/escape) and Moonshadow (which needs permanent cards hitting its controller's graveyard to shed its -1/-1 counters), so Leyline of the Void, free from your opening hand, cripples both by exiling cards that would hit their graveyard, shrinking Nethergoyf, shutting off its escape, and keeping Moonshadow small. Thoughtseize comes out since trading 1-for-1 discard against a deck that can counter with Force of Will/Daze and rebuild with cantrips is less impactful than permanently hosing their core graveyard plan; your Swords to Plowshares, Solitude, and Skyclave Apparition remain the primary answers to their threats, and Wasteland keeps pressuring their nonbasic lands while Karakas can bounce a legendary creature like Bilbo, Thief in the Night.

Sultai Aluren wants to chain cheap creatures off Aluren and dig and ramp into Show and Tell for Atraxa, Grand Unifier or Emrakul, the Aeons Torn, using Stock Up, Brainstorm and Ponder to find its pieces. Their plan doesn't run through the graveyard, so Leyline of the Void has little to hit and stays in the sideboard. Thoughtseize stays in, since taking Show and Tell, Aluren or a big threat from their hand is the best proactive play against a combo-ish deck, even with Force of Will as backup. Yorion, Sky Nomad adds a resilient flying body and lets you re-buy the enters-the-battlefield exile from Solitude against their huge top-end threats. Flickerwisp is trimmed as a lower-impact body when answering specific big threats matters more.
