Dimir Tempo is a mirror-like matchup built on blue cantrips and threats, making Pyroblast excellent to counter their Force of Will, Daze, or Brainstorm, or destroy a resolved Murktide Regent or Tamiyo, Inquisitive Student. Consign to Memory can counter Bilbo, Thief in the Night's graveyard-casting or any colorless permanent they might deploy, and helps us win the countermagic war. Force of Negation is often a dead draw on our own turn against their proactive plan, and Prismatic Ending is less impactful against their low-cost, low-permanent-count deck, so we trim both slightly for more targeted blue hate.

Eldrazi wants to flood the board with Thought-Knot Seer, Reality Smasher, and Eldrazi Linebreaker, so Wrath of the Skies gives you a way to sweep multiple threats at once while Erode picks off individual big bodies like Reality Smasher and Sire of Seven Deaths. Consign to Memory is excellent here since it counters colorless spells like Kozilek's Command and Chalice of the Void, and can also counter triggered abilities. Stifle loses most of its targets against this list and Force of Negation is weak since Chalice of the Void and their creature-heavy plan don't leave many noncreature spells worth countering, so both come out. Keep Swords to Plowshares and Prismatic Ending in as your primary answers to Thought-Knot Seer and Chalice of the Void.

Ocelot Pride Midrange swarms the board with token Cats, so Wrath of the Skies is a scalable sweeper that can wipe their small tokens while leaving your bigger threats alive. Lavinia, Azorius Renegade taxes their noncreature removal like Swords to Plowshares and shuts off any free spells, while also blocking early Cats. Erode gives us clean removal for Ajani, Nacatl Pariah or Guide of Souls before they snowball, at the cost of ramping their land count slightly. Murktide Regent is often too slow and clunky against their low curve of efficient white one- and two-drops, so we trim to a lighter top end.
