Ocelot Pride floods the board with small Cat tokens, and Massacre's -2/-2 wipes out Ocelot Pride itself, the Cat tokens, Guide of Souls, and Amped Raptor in one sweep. Null Rod is not part of the plan: their mainboard has no artifacts, and Goblin Bombardment is an enchantment, so it would have no targets worth shutting off. Fatal Push takes its place, since Ocelot Pride, Guide of Souls, Amped Raptor, Voice of Victory, Thalia, and the creature side of Ajani all have mana value 2 or less. Cabal Therapy is weak since their hand is often full of lands and cheap creatures rather than key spells worth naming, and Wail of the Forgotten is slow against a deck applying constant pressure.

Dimir Tempo's Mishra's Bauble and Murktide Regent's delve cost make graveyard hate very strong, and Nihil Spellbomb exiling their graveyard both denies delve fuel for Murktide Regent and shrinks Nethergoyf's power. Consign to Memory counters the colorless Mishra's Bauble and any other colorless spells they might cast, replicating to hit multiples. Cabal Therapy is less reliable here since the opponent has their own discard and disruption to fight over information, and Wail of the Forgotten is too slow against a deck that wants to race with a resilient threat, so both are cut.

Sultai Aluren wants to resolve Show and Tell into Omniscience or cheat in Atraxa, Grand Unifier, so Force of Negation is a free way to counter those noncreature spells on their turn. Consign to Memory counters any colorless spell they might play and crucially also counters triggered abilities, though their key engine (Aluren, Show and Tell) are not colorless so its main value here is reactive flexibility. Cabal Therapy is less reliable since they can rebuild quickly through Stock Up and Brainstorm, and one Wail of the Forgotten is cut to make room for more proactive interaction against their combo plan.
