Dimir Tempo relies on cheap cantrips (Brainstorm, Ponder), one-mana disruption (Thoughtseize, Fatal Push), and free countermagic (Force of Will, Daze) — Trinisphere taxes all of that up to three mana, badly disrupting their whole game plan. Swords to Plowshares is clean, efficient removal for Murktide Regent or a flipped Tamiyo. Simian Spirit Guide loses value since we want durable board presence against a deck full of removal rather than explosive starts that get Wastelanded or Force of Will'd. Archon of Emeria and Magus of the Moon both remain excellent, taxing their spells and punishing their nonbasic-heavy manabase.

Ocelot Pride generates a wide board of small tokens (Cats, Warriors) that Fury's 4 damage divided among multiple targets can wipe out efficiently, while also answering Amped Raptor or Voice of Victory. Swords to Plowshares is premium removal for Ajani, Nacatl Pariah before it flips, or a threatening Voice of Victory. Simian Spirit Guide contributes nothing to board state against a grindy, token-heavy opponent, reinforcing the swap toward higher-value cards.

Eldrazi presents big bodies like Reality Smasher and Sire of Seven Deaths that Swords to Plowshares answers cleanly, while Fury's 4 damage divided among targets cleans up Thought-Knot Seer, Glaring Fleshraker, and Eldrazi Linebreaker efficiently. Simian Spirit Guide is weak once the game grinds past turn one since it doesn't affect the board. Magus of the Moon stays in since it shuts off Eldrazi Temple and Cavern of Souls, both critical to their curve. Chalice of the Void on their side can be brutal against our one-drops, so leaning on higher-impact plays like Fury and removal smooths that out.
