Dimir Tempo's plan hinges on Force of Will, Daze, and Thoughtseize disrupting our combo turn, so proactive discard that strips their answer before we go off is excellent. Thoughtseize also has no downside against a deck full of free spells and cheap interaction. Cabal Therapy is often a dead draw before we know what to name and costs a creature for flashback, so it comes out in favor of unconditional discard. Memory's Journey is the weakest card selection piece since we rarely need to rebuy graveyard pieces against a deck that isn't grinding us out with graveyard hate.

Eldrazi's Chalice of the Void is the single biggest threat to our plan since it can lock out an entire cost of spell for the rest of the game, and Force of Vigor destroys it (along with any other artifacts they land) for free by exiling a green card from hand on their turn. Foundation Breaker gives another body that can blow up a Chalice while also evoking for cheap if mana is tight. Cabal Therapy is weak here since Eldrazi's hand is full of colorless creatures that dodge a single named card, and Destroy the Evidence is too slow against a deck that floods the board with threats quickly. We trim one Dread Return since Force of Vigor and Foundation Breaker crowd out some combo redundancy, but keep the core reanimation plan intact.

Ocelot Pride Midrange races us with an explosive token board while also carrying Thoughtseize and Cabal Therapy of its own, so we want to be the ones disrupting first. Thoughtseize can strip Orcish Bowmasters or removal before we commit to the graveyard plan, which matters since Bowmasters punishes our cantrip/draw-heavy sequencing. Cabal Therapy is cut since it's often a blind guess early and costs a creature on flashback, a tempo we can't spare against an aggressive clock. Memory's Journey is unnecessary since Orcish Bowmasters doesn't interact with our graveyard combo pieces the way true graveyard hate would.
