Missing sideboard cards? The full 15-card sideboard runs about $224.
Buy sideboard on ManapoolOcelot Pride Midrange is full of cheap one-and-two mana spells (Ocelot Pride, Guide of Souls, Swords to Plowshares, Static Prison), so Chalice of the Void set to one can lock out a huge portion of their deck while we operate off Ancient Tomb and artifact mana. Dismember is efficient removal for Ajani, Nacatl Pariah or Voice of Victory tokens before they snowball. We cut the slow card-selection Baubles and Metallic Rebuke, since tapping out for a 3-mana tax doesn't fit well against their proactive curve. Watch for Wasteland on our Ancient Tomb when sequencing Chalice.
Dimir Tempo wins by protecting a single threat like Murktide Regent or Kaito with free countermagic, so Force of Negation lets you fight on their terms by pitching a blue card to stop a follow-up Thoughtseize, Force of Will, or a key threat on their turn. Consign to Memory is a cheap answer to Orcish Bowmasters triggers and can brick-wall their colorless spells like Mishra's Bauble, while its replicate cost scales well if you flood on mana from Ancient Tomb and Urza's Saga. Metallic Rebuke is a weaker counter here since it's easily played around once they know you're tapped low, and Sink into Stupor is too slow against a deck that rebuilds tempo with cantrips, so both come out. Keep the full artifact and land suite intact since Emry, Urza's Saga, and the Mox-fueled starts are your best way to out-pace their disruption before Murktide or Kaito lock the game up.
Sultai Aluren wants to resolve Show and Tell into Omniscience or Atraxa, or assemble Aluren for a flurry of free creature casts. Chalice of the Void is the sideboard card that helps here. Set to zero, it counters their Lotus Petals, though it also hits your own Lotus Petals, Baubles, and Mox Opal, so weigh that before choosing it. Set to one, it counters Ponder, Brainstorm, and Veil of Summer, which slows their setup. Sink into Stupor is a clunky tempo play in this matchup, so both copies come out to make room for Chalice. The core artifact-affinity plan with Emry, Urza's Saga, and Painter's Servant still applies maximum pressure before they assemble their combo, so those pieces stay untouched.
