Boros Energy applies pressure through efficiently-statted creatures like Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer and Guide of Souls that snowball quickly if unanswered, so interactive removal helps stabilize. Galvanic Blast and Whipflare give you clean answers to their early threats — Whipflare in particular sweeps Ragavan, Ocelot Pride tokens, and Guide of Souls in one shot. Pithing Needle is low-impact here since their gameplan doesn't rely on activated abilities, and Skateboard and one Sink into Stupor are the least essential pieces against an aggressive deck. Watch out for their sideboard Blood Moon and Wear/Tear targeting your artifact mana and Urza's Saga; keep your artifact count high and try to deploy threats through multiple angles before their hate resolves.
Jeskai Blink is a tempo-control deck that leverages Solitude and Ephemerate to answer your threats efficiently while Ragavan generates card advantage and Phlage provides a powerful late-game threat. Their Consign to Memory can blow out your Urza's Saga constructs or Kappa Cannoneer at instant speed, so be mindful of leaving yourself mana-up or sequencing your threats across multiple turns. Bring in your own Consign to Memory, Swan Song, and Mystical Dispute to interact with their key spells — especially Solitude, Wrath of the Skies, and Ephemerate — on the stack. Metallic Rebuke is cut since your countermagic package is more mana-efficient and Rebuke often requires artifact mana to be reliable against a deck that can answer your board. Try to develop multiple threats simultaneously through Urza's Saga and Weapons Manufacturing so that their spot removal and bounce effects can't keep up card-for-card.
The mirror is fundamentally about Kappa Cannoneer — whoever lands and protects one first usually wins, so your priority is threatening lethal quickly while disrupting theirs. Galvanic Blast answers small threats and can finish a tapped-out opponent, while Swan Song counters Weapons Manufacturing or a key Emry trigger without tapping out. Whipflare sweeps token boards from Weapons Manufacturing and can clear Pinnacle Emissaries in a clogged board state. Metallic Rebuke and Pithing Needle come out because reactive permission is too slow and Needle has few high-value targets in an identical 75; Sink into Stupor and Skateboard are the weakest flex slots in a race. Keep your artifact density high to maintain Mox Opal mana and Kappa Cannoneer counters.
