Wrath of the Skies comes in as a reset against token floods and wide boards that your opponent may develop through Ocelot Pride or Seasoned Pyromancer, giving you a way to break serve when behind. Wear/Tear answers opposing Blood Moon (which can strand your white sources) and Elegant Parlor, both of which can generate significant card advantage in a grindy matchup. Thraben Charm is trimmed because its utility modes are less impactful in a symmetrical matchup where both players have similar game plans, and Voice of Victory underperforms when your opponent's creatures match up cleanly against it. The key decisions revolve around Ragavan — resolving it and denying your opponent's will often determine the winner, so prioritize protecting your own while disrupting theirs.
Jeskai Blink is a tempo-control deck built around Phelia and Ephemerate to generate card advantage while disrupting your board with Solitude and Wrath of the Skies. Your primary goal is to apply early pressure with Ragavan and Ocelot Pride before their control package comes online, as their Consign to Memory can counter your key spells in the mid-game. Wear/Tear answers their Arena of Glory and any Damping Spheres they bring in, while Celestial Purge efficiently answers Ragavan and Phlage on their side without getting blown out by Consign to Memory. Surgical Extraction comes in to punish their reliance on Phlage as a graveyard engine and cut off recursion loops with Ephemerate. Blood Moon is cut because their mana base is already tight but they run enough basics to function, and you need more impactful interaction in this spell-heavy matchup.
