Boros Energy is a fast, wide aggro deck that generates overwhelming board presence through Ocelot Pride tokens, Guide of Souls counters, and Seasoned Pyromancer value — your primary goal is to survive the early game and stabilize with a sweeper or Elesh Norn. Wrath of the Skies is your best sideboard card here, cleanly answering token floods and Phlage at any point in the game. Celestial Purge efficiently answers Blood Moon and can hit Ajani, Nacatl Pariah or Ocelot Pride in a pinch. Boggart Trawler and Emperor of Bones are your weakest cards in this matchup — they're too slow and don't interact favorably with Boros's low-to-the-ground threats. Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines is a powerful finisher that shuts off Guide of Souls triggers and Ranger-Captain of Eos, but prioritize staying alive long enough to deploy her.
This is a mirror-style blink midrange battle where the key difference is Jeskai's access to Ragavan and Phlage — both of which demand answers that don't sit in Fatal Push's range. Teferi, Time Raveler shuts off their Consign to Memory and Ephemerate at instant speed, which is critical since they will try to counter your Overlord of the Balemurk triggers or protect Phlage. Bring in all three Consign to Memory to fight their counters and neutralize Ragavan's stolen spells. Celestial Purge cleanly handles Ragavan and Phlage, both of which are otherwise difficult to remove profitably. Fatal Push is trimmed since few of their threats die to it profitably, and the raw card quality of the sideboard options is higher in this matchup.
Affinity is an artifact-based aggro-combo deck that builds a wide board fast with Weapons Manufacturing and Urza's Saga tokens, then closes with an enormous Kappa Cannoneer or Arcbound Ravager. Thoughtseize is too slow and life-lossy here — your priority is surviving their explosive starts, not disrupting their hand. Wrath of the Skies is your best reset button, clearing token swarms and artifact creatures alike at a flexible mana cost. Consign to Memory handles key artifacts like Mox Opal, Engineered Explosives, or Urza's Saga triggers, and stops Kappa Cannoneer from becoming an insurmountable threat. Celestial Purge cleanly exiles Emry or any red permanent they bring in, and Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines from your main applies constant pressure by blanking Saga constructs and Emry triggers once it resolves.
