Missing sideboard cards? The full 15-card sideboard runs about $135.
Buy sideboard on ManapoolEldrazi wants to grind with Emrakul, the Promised End and Devourer of Destiny while using Ancient Stirrings and Malevolent Rumble to assemble lands; Sanctifier en-Vec blocks their 2/2s and 3/3s reasonably and has protection from black, so Dismember can't target it, and it also adds bodies to carry equipment. Pithing Needle can shut down Urza's Saga's construct-making chapter II ability or Haywire Mite's exile ability, which is a real threat to our equipment. Kaldra Compleat is a second hasty threat, but it is not safe from Dismember: the Germ from living weapon is a 0/0 that gets +5/+5, so -5/-5 brings it to 0 toughness and it dies despite being indestructible. Kozilek's Command can also exile the Germ, since it has mana value 0. Kaldra does still shrug off Boseiju's destroy effect. Cut the weaker utility pieces (Paradise Mantle, Forge Anew, Shadowspear, Cryptic Coat) since this matchup is more about racing before Emrakul lands than grinding card advantage.
Solitude is efficient interaction against their Nethergoyf or Moonshadow threats, but evoking it costs two cards (Solitude plus a white card exiled from your hand), so it is a 2-for-1 against yourself. Hard-cast it at instant speed when you can and save evoke for situations where tempo matters more than cards. Pithing Needle is a narrow include: it can name Street Wraith, since cycling is an activated ability that isn't a mana ability, or Mishra's Bauble, or one of their fetchlands. Stitcher's Supplier has no activated ability, so don't name it. This is a fast, disruptive matchup where card quality over card advantage matters, so trim slow value pieces for proactive or interactive cards. Keep the rest of the artifact-equipment core intact, since their main deck has little artifact or enchantment removal to punish it. Watch for Meltdown and Damping Sphere out of their sideboard after game one.
Esper Control leans on Solitude, Wrath of the Skies, and Supreme Verdict as sweepers/removal, so Stubborn Denial backed up by our power-4+ creatures (once equipped) can counter a key removal spell or their own Teferi, Time Raveler for just {1}. Our Solitude answers their Solitude or any blocker they flash in, trading evenly while gaining them minimal life. Pithing Needle can shut off Jace, the Mind Sculptor's loyalty abilities or Isochron Scepter's activated ability if they resolve either. Cut slower, less impactful artifacts since this matchup rewards efficient threats and protecting them from counterspells and sweepers rather than grinding card advantage.
