Boros Energy is a fast aggro deck, but post-board they become a serious disruption threat: Deafening Silence (an enchantment that limits players to one noncreature spell per turn) and Damping Sphere (an artifact that taxes additional spells in a turn) can both completely halt your combo. Silence comes in as a proactive answer — cast it on their upkeep before they can deploy either hate piece, or hold it to protect your combo turn against Orim's Chant. Wear/Tear is the cleanest catch-all, able to destroy both Damping Sphere and Deafening Silence, and Prismatic Ending provides additional redundancy against either. Strike It Rich, Glimpse the Impossible, and Artist's Talent are the weakest non-engine cards in the list and can safely be trimmed to make room without compromising your ritual-into-Ral-into-Grapeshot game plan.

Jeskai Blink is your most feared interactive opponent — Consign to Memory counters your key storm spells for free, Solitude and Galvanic Discharge pressure your life total, and Ragavan can steal your rituals or win the value game if you stall. Post-board they add High Noon, which taxes each spell beyond the first each turn and can completely brick a storm turn, plus Damping Sphere. Silence on their upstep is your best tool: it buys a full turn of uncontested storming, so boarding up to three copies is essential. Bring in a second Grapeshot to give yourself redundant kill conditions in case Ral gets disrupted, and Empty the Warrens as an alternate win that dodges Consign to Memory once you're past four to six mana. Trim Strike It Rich and the slower cantrips (Glimpse the Impossible, one Valakut Awakening) since you need to be assembling a kill on turn three or four before their permission and hate pieces take over.

Affinity presents a fast clock but is soft to a resolved combo — your primary plan is to go off before Kappa Cannoneer or Pinnacle Emissary make combat impossible, while using Wear/Tear and Prismatic Ending to neutralize their most disruptive permanents like Damping Sphere, Pithing Needle, or Tormod's Crypt from the sideboard. Untimely Malfunction handles Metallic Rebuke or other interaction they may hold up. Empty the Warrens is a strong secondary win condition in games where the storm count is modest but a wide goblin board races under their artifact synergies. Trim Glimpse the Impossible and Strike It Rich as they are the slowest or most conditional pieces — Affinity's pressure means you cannot afford clunky draws. Watch for Engineered Explosives set to zero or two post-board, which can blow out both your mana rocks and a Warrens token army.
