Buy sideboard on ManapoolMono Red Madness can't interact with our hexproof creatures at all, so this race comes down to who kills first and whether we can buy life. Mask of Law and Grace grants protection from red, making that creature immune to Lightning Bolt, Fiery Temper, and Lava Dart entirely, which is enormous against a deck with almost no non-red removal. Armadillo Cloak's triggered life gain is already our best tool to outrace their burn, and Lifelink adds more insurance on a second threat. Cartouche of Solidarity and Sentinel's Eyes are cut since their marginal stat boosts matter less than surviving the burn plan.
Mono-Blue Terror leans on Counterspell and Force Spike to stop our threats and removal like Deem Inferior to interact with nonland permanents, but our hexproof creatures dodge nearly everything targeted; the real danger is their tempo plan resolving Tolarian Terror or Cryptic Serpent unanswered while we're tapped out. Mask of Law and Grace doesn't stop blue interaction, but it's still a low-cost, efficient Aura that adds to our Ethereal Armor and Ancestral Mask count. We keep the full core suite since our best plan is simply resolving threats faster than they can find enough countermagic, and Cartouche's token/first strike matters less against a deck with few good blockers.
Tron has almost no early interaction and wins by assembling mana to deploy big threats like Bramble Wurm and Nyxborn Hydra, so our plan is to race with hexproof evasive threats before they stabilize. The second Ram Through gives us a way to fight through their bigger creatures (like Nyxborn Hydra or Bramble Wurm) once they land, using our pumped power to remove blockers or push extra damage with trample. We keep our core aggressive shell intact since speed is what wins this matchup, not the removal suite they lack.
