“Mono Red Rally is a combo-aggro deck that chains zero-mana Burning-Tree Emissaries to flood the board with artifacts and creatures, then closes the game by casting Rally at the Hornburg to pump the entire team for a lethal alpha strike. Clockwork Percussionist and Voldaren Epicure serve as cheap artifact producers that maximize Rally's token and buff output, while Goblin Bushwhacker provides a redundant haste-pump effect to win through blockers. The deck can goldfish kills as early as turn three by leveraging mana-neutral sequencing with Burning-Tree Emissary into a critical-mass board state.”

Buy sideboard on ManapoolThis matchup is a race, but Mono Red Madness generates so much incidental damage from Kessig Flamebreather and Guttersnipe that grinding is dangerous, so lean into speed while blunting their engine. Relic of Progenitus can proactively exile their graveyard to strip fuel for Faithless Looting flashback and Lava Dart flashback before it happens, and its second mode wipes all graveyards for a card if they get ahead. End the Festivities deals 1 damage to each opponent and each creature and planeswalker they control, which cleanly answers their Voldaren Epicure (while Guttersnipe at 2 toughness gets pressured, though Kessig Flamebreather at 3 toughness survives) while also chipping their life total. Inventor's Axe is too slow and clunky when both decks are trying to close the game fast, and a second Chain Lightning is replaced since our own damage output stays strong through the core creatures and burn already in the deck. Keep Burning-Tree Emissary, Rally at the Hornburg, Goblin Bushwhacker, Clockwork Percussionist, Galvanic Blast, and Voldaren Epicure fully intact to maximize our own clock, since outracing them is usually more reliable than trying to out-grind their card advantage engine.
Red Elemental Blast is excellent here, countering Counterspell/Brainstorm/Tolarian Terror/Cryptic Serpent or destroying Delver of Secrets and any blue permanent. Relic of Progenitus attacks their graveyard-density plan directly, exiling cards that would reduce the cost of Tolarian Terror and Cryptic Serpent, and can be sacrificed for a card when its job is done. Inventor's Axe is too slow against a deck full of cheap interaction and counterspells, and Chain Lightning is less efficient than keeping the low curve tight against their Force Spike/Spell Pierce-style disruption. Keep the low-curve aggro plan intact to close before Counterspell mana is untapped.
Tron is a slow ramp deck vulnerable to a fast clock, so racing is the plan; Cast into the Fire can exile their mana-fixing artifacts like Expedition Map, Bonder's Ornament, or Giant's Boulder to disrupt their assembly, or snipe an early Eldrazi Spawn token. End the Festivities can clear a board of 0/1 Eldrazi Spawn tokens generated by Writhing Chrysalis or Malevolent Rumble while chipping at their life total. We cut the slower or more situational cards since Tron decks rarely interact with our early creatures, prioritizing maximum pressure before they assemble Urza's Tron and cast Bramble Wurm or Nyxborn Hydra.
