Buy sideboard on ManapoolMono Red Madness is almost entirely red: Sneaky Snacker is its only blue card, and it mostly comes back from the graveyard through its own trigger rather than being cast, so Red Elemental Blast stays in the sideboard. Standard Bearer is the best card we have: while it is on the battlefield every Lightning Bolt, Fiery Temper, Fireblast and Lava Dart they cast has to target it, turning their burn into removal for a 1/1. Prismatic Strands blanks a whole turn of red damage, including Guttersnipe and Kessig Flamebreather triggers, and flashes back by tapping a white creature, while Aurora Eidolon's prevention shield does the same job in miniature. Cast into the Fire kills Voldaren Epicure, and Thraben Charm's graveyard mode exiles their Faithless Looting and Lava Dart flashbacks and strands a dead Sneaky Snacker in exile. Sandstorm Eidolon, Bitter Reunion, Spirit Mascot and Fling are our slowest cards in a race; keep every Inside Out, since discarding to Tireless Tribe and then swapping its power and toughness is still how we win.
Standard Bearer forces the opponent's targeted spells like Deem Inferior or removal to hit it instead of your real threats, protecting your board from disruption. Thraben Charm can exile the graveyard of Tolarian Terror or Cryptic Serpent to slow their cost reduction, or deal damage equal to twice your creature count to kill Delver of Secrets or a small Faerie. Obsidian Acolyte adds an early blocker and beefs up your board presence against a deck without much removal. Prismatic Strands is weak here since the opponent isn't dealing much damage via creatures with colors that matter for this racing plan, and Bitter Reunion's card filtering is less valuable against a deck that already outdraws you; keep Escape Tunnel and burn to close games quickly before counterspells matter.
Cast into the Fire's artifact-exile mode is valuable against their Bonder's Ornament, Expedition Map, and Candy Trail, slowing their ramp toward Urza's Tron and disrupting card selection. Since their deck goes over the top with Maelstrom Colossus and Bramble Wurm rather than racing us, our removal suite matters less than simply applying pressure fast before they assemble Tron; Loran's Escape remains a weak proactive play in a grindy matchup where their big threats outclass ours late. Leave Red Elemental Blast in the sideboard since they have no blue targets; otherwise these swaps are marginal and the primary plan should just be curving out and forcing them to answer our clock before Tron comes online.
