Missing sideboard cards? The full 15-card sideboard runs about $19.21.
Buy sideboard on ManapoolGolgari brings efficient cheap removal (Fatal Push, Abrupt Decay, Go for the Throat), but none of it can touch an uncrewed Vehicle, so Thundering Broodwagon is not cut because it dies to removal. It is a six-mana BBGG card in a slower plan, so trim it along with the other clunkier cards. Strategic Betrayal makes them exile a creature of their own choice, so expect them to give up the weakest one, but it is best when they have few creatures, and it also exiles their graveyard, which blanks Takenuma's channel ability. Abrupt Decay is uncounterable removal that cheaply answers Badgermole Cub, Sentinel of the Nameless City, and Graveyard Trespasser, but it can't hit Sheoldred or Professor Dellian Fel, which both have mana value 4. Culling Ritual can blow out their early Badgermole Cub and any Map tokens, but it also destroys your own Professor of Symbology, Tarmogoyf, and Cat tokens, so time it carefully. Keep Greasefang and Esika's Chariot as your primary plan, since Fatal Push and Go for the Throat can't target a Vehicle until it is crewed.
Izzet Cauldron's Hearth Elemental and Eddymurk Crab both get cheaper off instants/sorceries in the graveyard, making Unlicensed Hearse valuable both to deny that discount and to strip value from their self-mill-adjacent plan. Pest Control answers nothing of theirs on the mainboard reliably since most of their permanents cost more than 1, but it cycles for value if dead, so only bring it in as a flex slot; alternatively lean more on removal already in the 75. Thundering Broodwagon is too slow and clunky against their bounce-heavy, counter-backed tempo plan (Get Out, Stubborn Denial), so trim it. Tarmogoyf underperforms since the matchup rarely fills the graveyard with diverse card types fast enough on our side.
UBR relies heavily on Fable of the Mirror-Breaker, Indomitable Creativity, and graveyard-fueled card advantage, so Unlicensed Hearse exiles cards from their graveyard to shut off Flashback and denies recursion targets while growing into a real threat. Thundering Broodwagon's ETB removal is good against their Fable token or The Theorist, Jace Beleren, but Crew 3 is awkward against their burn-heavy, counterspell-heavy plan (Fiery Impulse, Volcanic Spite, Make Disappear, Negate), so we trim to focus on resilience. True Ancestry returns a key permanent like Greasefang or Esika's Chariot from the graveyard after it gets killed, smoothing out variance against their disruption. Tarmogoyf is unreliable here since early graveyards are thin and Unlicensed Hearse actively works against keeping it big, so it comes out.
