Golgari is loaded with cheap targeted removal (Fatal Push, Abrupt Decay, Go for the Throat, plus Professor Dellian Fel's -3) and discard (Thoughtseize), so Surrak, Elusive Hunter's uncounterable trample body is a good fit: every time they target it with a removal spell or ability, you draw a card. Scrapshooter is an efficient 4/4 for three, and its reach lets it block the flying Demon token from Ritual Chamber. If you promise the gift, it can destroy Unholy Annex // Ritual Chamber, but that gives them a card, so use it deliberately. Ulvenwald Oddity is a slower value engine that doesn't pressure their Sheoldred fast enough, and Polukranos Reborn is clunky against their efficient removal suite. Keep the ramp plan intact since Nykthos and Storm the Festival still overload their one-for-one removal.

Izzet Cauldron is packed with cheap instants and sorceries (Consider, Opt, Sleight of Hand, Fiery Impulse, Prismari Charm), so Arasta of the Endless Web punishes every one of those casts with a free 1/2 reach blocker while also blocking Eddymurk Crab and Hearth Elemental on the ground. Scrapshooter's reach adds more resilient bodies against their flying-light but tempo-based plan. Ulvenwald Oddity is too slow against their proactive countermagic (Stubborn Denial), and Boseiju is weak here since they have no real artifacts/enchantments/nonbasics worth hitting beyond occasional lands. Keep applying pressure since they have minimal hard removal for big creatures.

UBR relies heavily on Fable of the Mirror-Breaker and Arclight-style graveyard/looting synergies alongside Indomitable Creativity, so Unlicensed Hearse's crew-2 body attacks their graveyard resources while blocking small creatures from Fable tokens. The Stone Brain can strip a key copy like Fable of the Mirror-Breaker or Indomitable Creativity from their deck entirely. Ulvenwald Oddity is too slow against their card-advantage engines and Polukranos Reborn doesn't match up well against their removal-light but counterspell-heavy plan (Make Disappear). Keep ramping into Storm the Festival and Cavalier of Thorns to out-value their grindy card draw.
