Gruul Basking Broodscale Combo relies heavily on artifact/land engines (Urza's Saga, Eldrazi Temple, Walking Ballista, Blade of the Bloodchief) to enable Basking Broodscale's discard-a-card triggers, so Force of Vigor is a free two-for-one that can blow up their Saga or a key artifact at no mana cost. Brotherhood's End's overload sweeps their small permanents and artifacts, which can meaningfully set back their engine before they chain into Emrakul, the Promised End. Cut Oliphaunt and Sink into Stupor since they don't interact with the opponent's game plan and you need proactive disruption instead. Try to race with your own Living End flip since their deck, while resilient, isn't particularly fast at pressuring your life total early.

Izzet Prowess is a low-curve tempo-aggro deck that goes wide with cheap threats like Dragon's Rage Channeler and Monastery Swiftspear, so Brotherhood's End's overload mode is a one-sided board wipe that can completely blow them out after they've committed their hand. Mystical Dispute is excellent since it's a hard counter against a mono-blue-adjacent deck full of cantrips and can stop a Cori-Steel Cutter or Expressive Iteration cheaply. Trim your top-end (Waker of Waves, Oliphaunt) since they're too slow and clunky against a deck trying to kill you by turn 4-5. Race carefully — Street Wraith and Wistfulness help you dig for interaction and threats quickly enough to survive their early clock.

Boros Energy is a fast, low-to-the-ground aggro deck full of one-for-one removal (Galvanic Discharge, Thraben Charm) and disruption (Static Prison), so your Living End plan needs to resolve on curve rather than durdle. Mystical Dispute is excellent here since it's a hard counter for a mono-red-adjacent deck and can stop a Blood Moon or a key Ranger-Captain of Eos. Teferi, Time Raveler shuts off their instant-speed interaction and protects your cyclers/creatures once you flip Living End, while also locking their static effects like Blood Moon. Sink into Stupor is too slow against their proactive curve and Street Wraith is a marginal cut since you need every turn of pressure rather than cycling for value. Prioritize resolving Violent Outburst or Shardless Agent into Living End as early as possible before they stabilize with Ranger-Captain or Voice of Victory.
