Mono Red Madness is a pure burn-to-the-face race with Fiery Temper, Lightning Bolt, and Guttersnipe/Kessig Flamebreather triggers, so Weather the Storm's life gain directly counters their damage plan and can snowball via storm if you cast other spells first. Breath Weapon clears their small creatures (Voldaren Epicure, Guttersnipe) for 2 damage each, cutting off their damage-trigger engine. Relic of Progenitus and graveyard hate from their side won't matter here since madness casts from exile, not the graveyard. Trim slower card-advantage pieces like Lembas and Eviscerator's Insight since they don't affect the speed of this race.
Mono-Blue Terror depends entirely on graveyard density to make Tolarian Terror and Cryptic Serpent cheap, so Faerie Macabre's discard-to-exile ability strips their graveyard fuel and can be repeated by drawing more copies. Duress proactively strips Counterspell or Brainstorm before they can protect their threats or disrupt your plan, which is crucial since they have little pressure of their own early. Swap out Nihil Spellbomb for Faerie Macabre since Macabre exiles cards more efficiently as a discard-based ability rather than requiring a slow artifact activation. Eviscerator's Insight is replaced since card selection matters less than proactively attacking their key resource.
Tron relies heavily on artifact mana rocks (Bonder's Ornament, Expedition Map, Candy Trail) and colorless ramp lands to assemble Urza's Tower/Mine/Power Plant, so Troublemaker Ouphe can exile a key artifact like Bonder's Ornament or Expedition Map when bargained, disrupting their mana development. Duress strips their Ancient Stirrings or Crop Rotation before they find their pieces, slowing their ramp significantly. Cut slower card-advantage pieces like Lembas and Eviscerator's Insight for proactive disruption since this matchup is about denying their engine before they hit critical mass with Maelstrom Colossus or Bramble Wurm. Keep your removal suite (Cast Down, Krark-Clan Shaman) to answer their eventual big threats.
