Gruul Basking Broodscale Combo aims to assemble infinite +1/+1 counters and Eldrazi Spawn tokens using Basking Broodscale paired with Blade of the Bloodchief, tutor original pieces via Urza's Saga, and ramp with Ugin's Labyrinth and Eldrazi Temple. We bring in Obsidian Charmaw, which gets a massive mana discount against their colorless land package to destroy key lands like Urza's Saga or Ugin's Labyrinth. Clarion Conqueror stops Basking Broodscale's activated adapt ability, while Wear directly removes Blade of the Bloodchief or Urza's Saga, and Prismatic Ending removes nonland targets like Blade of the Bloodchief. Wrath of the Skies acts as an effective sorcery sweeper against Spawn tokens and small creatures. We trim Orcish Bowmasters and Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer because Eldrazi Spawn tokens invalidate Ragavan's attacks and Bowmasters lacks targets.

Izzet Prowess relies on chaining cheap noncreature spells to pump creatures like Monastery Swiftspear, Dragon's Rage Channeler, and Slickshot Show-Off. High Noon completely breaks their game plan by limiting both players to casting only one spell per turn, preventing multi-spell turns and restricting prowess triggers. Wrath of the Skies and Prismatic Ending bolster our removal suite to clear their early creatures and Cori-Steel Cutter. Nihil Spellbomb shrinks Dragon's Rage Channeler by turning off delirium and exiles Lava Dart from the graveyard. We board out Thoughtseize to avoid self-inflicted life loss and trim slow threats like Seasoned Pyromancer and Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer.

Esper GenericBlink leverages creature enters-the-battlefield triggers alongside Ephemerate, Phelia, Exuberant Shepherd, and graveyard recursion with Overlord of the Balemurk. Nihil Spellbomb and Surgical Extraction prevent them from getting value out of their graveyard with Overlord and Emperor of Bones. Prismatic Ending gives us clean removal for Phelia, Teferi, Time Raveler, and early threats before they can be blinked. Wear functions as a great answer to Overlord of the Balemurk since it is an enchantment creature. We cut Thoughtseize and Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer because hand disruption decays rapidly against their card-advantage engines and Ragavan struggles against Orcish Bowmasters.
