Damping Sphere both taxes their multi-spell turns and turns their double-mana Eldrazi Temple into a single colorless source. Sink into Stupor and Skateboard are cut since they don't meaningfully interact with their ramp-into-Emrakul/Devourer of Destiny plan. Keep Tormod's Crypt in since it can proactively strip fuel from Malevolent Rumble digging.

Izzet Prowess floods the board with cheap low-toughness creatures like Dragon's Rage Channeler, Monastery Swiftspear, and Slickshot Show-Off, making Whipflare's 2 damage to each nonartifact creature a great sweeper since it leaves your Kappa Cannoneer and other artifact creatures alive. Consign to Memory counters the Flurry triggered ability from Cori-Steel Cutter to prevent a Monk token or counters colorless spells like Mishra's Bauble. We trim Preordain since our plan is racing/board control rather than card selection, and Sink into Stupor is weak against a deck with few standalone permanents worth bouncing. Keep the full Engineered Explosives package since it doubles as another sweeper against their swarm.

Esper Blink leans on Solitude and Ephemerate/Flickerwisp value chains plus Overlord of the Balemurk, so extra counterspells help disrupt their engine. Consign to Memory can counter key triggered abilities, such as Solitude or Flickerwisp enter-the-battlefield triggers. Metallic Rebuke taxes their removal or blink payoffs when you have artifact mana online. Sink into Stupor is weak here since their key permanents like Phelia and Solitude just get reset by their own blink effects, and Pithing Needle/Skateboard are too narrow against their varied threat base. Keep Swan Song and Tormod's Crypt mainboard-relevant since they answer Ephemerate loops and graveyard recursion respectively.
