This matchup is a race against a colorless/artifact-heavy ramp deck; Fatal Push and Terminate answer Basking Broodscale and Glaring Fleshraker cheaply, though Terminate cannot target Emrakul, the Promised End due to its protection from instants. Sheoldred's Edict forces a sacrifice that dodges any protection their creatures might gain and is great against a lone early threat. Cling to Dust exiles a card from their graveyard (useful against their graveyard synergies) and gains life or draws a card. We trim slower, go-wide pieces like Political Triumph and Chthonian Nightmare that are too clunky against a deck trying to assemble Urza's Saga/Eldrazi ramp quickly.

Izzet Prowess is a fast aggressive deck full of small creatures, and Thraben Charm can deal damage equal to twice our creature count to snipe Dragon's Rage Channeler, Monastery Swiftspear, or Slickshot Show-Off, which our token-heavy board makes easy to scale. Surgical Extraction can strip a key burn spell or Cori-Steel Cutter copy from their graveyard/hand/library after it resolves once, disrupting their gameplan. Chthonian Nightmare is too slow against this pace, so it comes out along with a single copy of the clunkier Belladonna Took.

Esper Blink relies heavily on discard (Thoughtseize) and blink value engines (Phelia, Exuberant Shepherd, Ephemerate, Flickerwisp), so Tidehollow Sculler proactively strips a key card from their hand before they can leverage it, though note they can blink it back with their own effects if they choose to interact. Wear // Tear can destroy troublesome enchantments like an Overlord of the Balemurk or hit any artifact they might bring in. We cut the slow, reactive Chthonian Nightmare and Belladonna Took since this matchup rewards proactive disruption and speed over grindy incremental value that their Solitude and removal suite can pick apart.
