This is a combo race where both decks can win as early as turn two or three, so the primary goal is to threaten a kill faster than they can assemble Basking Broodscale plus Blade of the Bloodchief plus Glaring Fleshraker. Orim's Chant is your most powerful tool: cast it on their combo turn to prevent them from casting spells entirely, or tap their key creatures before they can attack with a lethal Broodscale. Their post-board Damping Spheres are the most dangerous hate piece β they tax your rituals and cap your storm count simultaneously β so Prismatic Ending and Wear // Tear come in as flexible answers to Damping Sphere, Blade of the Bloodchief, and Walking Ballista. Flashback gets cut partly because their Grafdigger's Cage shuts it off, and the slower card-selection pieces (Artist's Talent, Valakut Awakening, Glimpse the Impossible, Wish) come out in favor of interactive sorceries and instants that let you either stop their kill or push through their hate. Be mindful of Emrakul, the Promised End: if they're threatening to cast it, prioritize killing them the turn before rather than holding up Orim's Chant.
Izzet Prowess is a fast aggro deck that can race you if you stumble, but it has no interaction with your combo outside of the sideboard's Consign to Memory and Spell Snare. Your primary game plan remains the same β go off as fast as possible, ideally on turn 2 or 3. Empty the Warrens comes in as an alternate win condition that can close the game on a smaller storm count if you're worried about disruption, since a board of 8+ Goblin tokens is very difficult for them to beat through without Meltdown. Brotherhood's End gives you a clean answer to their entire board if they flood out with Monastery Swiftspear, Dragon's Rage Channeler, and Cori-Steel Cutter. Trim Glimpse the Impossible and a Flashback as they're the lowest-impact cantrips when you need to prioritize speed.
Esper GenericBlink is a disruption-heavy midrange deck that attacks your hand with Thoughtseize and presents instant-speed removal through Solitude and Fatal Push, making it critical to protect your combo turn rather than durdle with slow card selection. Cast Orim's Chant on their upkeep to neutralize Thoughtseize before they untap, and hold additional copies to lock out their entire turn when you're ready to go off. Post-board, their most punishing cards are High Noon and Damping Sphere β Wear // Tear cleanly answers both as an instant or sorcery respectively, and Prismatic Ending is your answer to Teferi, Time Raveler, who would otherwise prevent you from casting Orim's Chant mid-combo and interfere with your storm sequencing. Empty the Warrens provides an alternative win condition that is significantly harder for them to answer through Consign to Memory, since token production resolves as a single trigger rather than a spell chain.
